DESTINATION LLEIDA

Lleida is an ancient city in Catalonia, in northeastern Spain. The Romanesque-Gothic cathedral of La Seu Vella, situated on the ruins of a fortress atop a hill, dominates the city.

Below the hill lies Lleida's Eix Comercial, a wide pedestrian area with shops housed within many of the old town's spectacular buildings. On a hill to the west of the city, the 12th-century Gardeny Castle explores the region's Templar history.
